New to Pilates? This is Where to Begin

We often get asked this question - “I’m new to Pilates. Where should I begin?” This is a great question and we have a lot of options on our schedule so hopefully, this will break it down to make it easy to decide!

We often suggest starting with our private sessions special (three 55 minute long classes) for $240. It's the best way to learn the language of Pilates, how the apparatus works, and what the best options are for your particular needs/ goals. This is also most appropriate if you are dealing with any physical pain and/or movement issues.

If private classes aren’t an option or you prefer small groups, we have several Beginner Reformer small groups at our Cumberland and Providence locations.

A third option suitable for beginners is a Tower or a Mat class. While it will be an Open Level class, you will be offered modifications as needed and the instructor will help you with apparatus adjustments.

We’re always happy to talk through your questions and concerns and can help you decide which method is best for you to get started. Call us at 401-595-8462 and Edwarda is ready to assist you!
